Mark grew up fishing Wisconsin, a sport he enjoyed as a hobby, not until 2009 when he moved to within 5 minutes of Lake Erie did he discover this was going to be more than just a hobby. Having direct access to Lake Erie, Detroit River, and Lake St. Clair, Mark quickly learned that competitive BASS fishing was in his blood.
Fishing clubs for the last 6 years, being able to fish against some of the best anglers Michigan has to offer the decision was made to make the next step in competitive BASS fishing. Now fishing the BFL, TBF, NBAA and larger Lake St. Clair tournaments Mark is carving out his own place as one of the up / coming anglers to watch.
When Mark is not out rip’in lips and bust’in sticks, he volunteers his time to the local fishing community to take and teach kids about BASS fishing and conservation, understanding that our sport and resources will be in their hands one day; this is a very important aspect of his current and future career.
